It uses your body weight and angles to create a challenging workout. By suspending all or part of your body and by changing the angles, one can easily increase or decrease the difficulty.
Your heart will be pumping and muscles working throughout the entire hour. The instability created by the TRX straps combined with the use of your own body weight creates a high intensity workout where your core is engaged the entire time. This circuit type class incorporates different pieces of equipment like Bosu, gliders weights and more. You will see amazing results in overall body strength and endurance.
We are now offering a strength training class that will be personalized to your needs. The instructor will assess how your body responds to specific movements and modify the program for you with your progressions. This Pure Strength goes back to the basics by reverting to more of the tried and true functional strength based exercises to build lean muscles one session at a time. Using free weights and your own body weight, you’ll be activating your muscle tissue and burning fat long after the workout is done. High Intensity Interval Training has become a popular way to burn fat, improve endurance, and build strength. HIIT is considered to be much more effective than normal cardio. This type of workout will have you working at high intensity followed by a low intensity. The workout will use different type of equipment such as weights, battleropes, bosu balls, kettlebells etc. HIIT workouts have been shown to speed up your metabolism, which helps you burn more calories throughout the day. This workout is challenging and will push your personal limits.
This dynamic class focuses on improving range of motion through functional movements, flexibility and core strengthening exercises. Ultimately, it will target your abs, low back, glutes, hips and pelvic floor.
